  • Lottensee is a rare phenomenon: one of a few aperiodic lakes in the area. There is no regularity of when there is going to be a lake and when there is none.... In this case it is already quite small  in the middle of August, and about to disappear.

  • One of the most common photos taken in Innsbruck, Mariahilf across the river. The colourful buildings along the riverside have a special charm. I'm happy to have caught the reflection of the colour of the buildings with their Christmas lights in the river.

  • On a hike down from a glacier the movement of 2 bushy tails got my attention. This marmot and his friend were playing around for more than 10 minutes. They did not seem to mind us humans much.
