This beautiful European Roller was perching nicely on this dry branch in Kruger National Park

Driving through Kruger National Park, we noticed to mark on the map: the Most Northern Baobab Tree, and figured this might be worth visiting.

Heading out for a guided morning hike with some rangers we were able to get out of camp before the sun even rose.

This female Golden Orb Spider, roughly 30mm in sizes is weaving her big web in Kruger National park. Her web was at least 2 meters wide and the silk is actually as golden as her back, unfortunately the photo did not show that detail

From this parking lot you get the chance to look into various directions into Blyde Canyon. The atmosphere of this lake in the midst of mountains with the sun being already a bit low gave this scene a special amosphere

Blyde Canyon, borders Kruger National Park on the southern west side. Its beautiful mountain structures gives it many places to discover

in the early morning heading out for a game drive the sun was rising beyond this lake, as the clouds from the rain of the previous night had not yet disappeared

The hills seem to be endless, as the river is coming down while driving up the canyon

I love how the layers of rock reveal the history of the land here

Another take at the lake in Blyde Canyon, different time of day, different weather.... but always seems to be a wonderful place to be
